PVC banner material comes in roll form and is printed direct to surface using large format digital printing presses. Banner is a versatile substrate which can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. Printed banner material can be folded over and welded to give a reinforced edge. Eyelets can be included so that rope can be threaded through for fixing. Another method of banner finishing is to include “pockets” into which poles can be inserted. A major advantage of banner material is ease of transport and storage. Digital printing allows for full colour images as well as standard text and blocks of colour. Banner can be printed to a maximum of 3 metres along one dimension with the other dimension to suit. Kingfisher print onto class 1 fire rated banner material which meets the regulations of most exhibition Halls, shopping arcades etc. PVC banner material is opaque. When wind resistance is an issue an alternative material is mesh, however the trade off is loss of opacity and less lay down of ink which results in diminished vibrancy of colour. Fabric can also be used for internal banners.
