acrylic / perspex print for bar area. (see picture

For this project Kingfisher Graphics
printed directly onto 3 metre by 2 metre mirror acrylic using
a UV flat bed. The use of white ink as well as colour enabled
the design to be very visible. Another advantage of using
mirror acrylic is that the sheet can be routed to a smaller
size, and in this case holes were drilled to allow for
fixings.
Perspex cast
acrylic sheet is manufactured in the UK and is suitable for a
wide variety of applications including Signs, Lightboxes, POS,
glazing and most types of fabrication. Perspex has a high
molecular weight, making it very rigid and less prone to
cracking and crazing than extruded acrylic. Perspex has a
greater impact resistance than glass plus it is none shatter.
Perspex is hygienic, easy to clean and abrasion resistant.
Another advantage to Perspex is easy handling, as it
is half the weight of glass. Perspex is fully recyclable.
Perspex comes in a variety of colours as well as clear. The
cheaper alternative to Perspex is extruded acrylic. Extruded
acrylic is suitable for POS Displays, Signs and glazing.
Extruded acrylic has excellent thermoforming capabilities and
has good optical clarity. Kingfisher can print direct to
Perspex or extruded acrylic.
