Applications for foam centred boards include
Hanging Displays, Internal Signs, Exhibition panels and POS. Foam
centred board is
a lightweight polystyrene centred board with a smooth even sided surface.
Foam centred board is an ideal substrate when weight is
an issue, however care needs to be taken
when handling as it easily damaged. Foam centred
boards are recommended for interior use only.
Kingfisher Graphics can print direct to
foam centred board on their UV flat bed printer.
Foam centred board
can be cut to elaborate shapes. Certain grades of foam centred
board are class 1 fire rated. There are different types
of foam centred board using trade names such
as “Kapa” or “Foam-X” Standard sheet thickness of
foam centred board is 5mm or 10mm.
The
butterflies in the exhibition stand above were printed
double sided onto 5mm foamex and cut to
shape using a zund computerised cutting table.
