Kingfisher can supply and fit pre-spaced self adhesive vinyl letters
and logos. The computer cut letters are held together on a backing
sheet and an application tape is applied over the pre spaced letters.
End uses for vinyl letters include vehicle graphics, wall signs and
window graphics.
Grades of vinyl exist for different end uses with cast, calendered and
monomeric vinyls. Cast vinyl conforms to curves and raised surfaces and
therefore has the longest life and is the most expensive. Calendered
vinyl is a good mid range vinyl and monomeric is used for short term
applications where the chosen surface is flat.
There is also a choice
of adhesives with permanent and removable options. For applications
where light vinyl colours need to be fitted to darker base colours a
grey backed adhesive layer exists which enables the vinyl to be opaque.
The colour range of vinyl letters is limited in both matt and gloss
finishes, however Kingfisher have the ability to print and laminate
white self adhesive vinyl which can then be cut to the desired message
or logo shape.
