This major UK exhibition at the Whitworth Gallery Manchester
displays wallpaper designs from artists including Andy Warhol and
Damien Hurst. It shows that wallpaper need not be seen as a background
image, but rather as a visual statement which can amuse, inspire, relax
or provoke.
Kingfisher Graphics were approached by Helen Knowles a director of
Birthrites to print her organisations highly original and thought
provoking design depicting scenes from childbirth onto digital
wallpaper for an exhibition display. Birthrite’s wallpaper design
is included in the “Walls are Talking” exhibition at the
Whitworth which runs until August.
Digital wallpaper offers the flexibility to cover walls in full colour
imagery as a one off project or in small print runs.
